Passing through Uranus (a subscribers-only bonus post!)

The beginning of our Harvest Hosts/Boondockers Welcome challenge was intense, to say the least. We went from a season of slow travel and suddenly thrusted ourselves into a month of traveling almost every single day. Planning our schedule while including factors like work and weather was daunting. However, we'd be remiss if we didn't have some adventures to offset the stress. We've already talked about a few in our HH/BW Challenge Series, but a couple of them didn't make the final cut. And so, we are going to recap them here in a special bonus post. At the end, we'll also reveal a big problem that we noticed shortly after we began our challenge – one that became yet another huge factor in our planning.
